There has been a strategic shift in the way we approach our placements. Thanx to PlceCom, from this year on, we have opened up the avenue of "Multiple Offers". Till now, once a student gets acceptance from a company, he/she necessarily had to join that company. But from now, we'll be allowed to hold multiple offers (subject to a max. of 2, though). We can then decide on which firm to join. This will definitely place more options in our hands and well as mitigate any self-guilt that we have about the "Day 0" option.

Its definitely a good thing.. the day 0 pressure forces a lot of ppl into taking the job that comes first rather than taking the job which cuits them....
